ABOUT THE INNOVATION AND OPPORTUNITY CONFERENCE
The Innovation and Opportunity Conference: Advancing Aerospace and Defense (IOC), now in its second year, brings together NASA experts, small businesses, startups, research institutions and large businesses/prime contractors for a technology and commercialization event. The IOC provides opportunities for companies at every stage of maturity, from those just starting out with a great idea, to experienced innovators looking to expand and actively participate in tomorrow’s aerospace and defense.

Colorado Small Business Development Center (SBDC)
The Colorado Small Business Development Center Network (SBDC) helps existing and new businesses grow and prosper. SBDC’s TechSource program provides Colorado’s science and engineering small businesses (startup through advanced) with specially-designed assistance to help overcome hurdles to growth. Colorado tech ventures are matched up to specialized experts, resources and industry access for technology commercialization; SBIR/STTR; Colorado Advanced Industries; other innovation grants/vehicles and other funding sources; cybersecurity compliance; business development; and more.
Colorado Business Development Foundation (CBDF)
The Colorado Business Development Foundation (CBDF) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to fund and develop small business resources. Through strategic relationships with private corporations, state agencies and other not-for-profit organizations, CBDF helps businesses grow and prosper.
NASA Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Programs
The NASA Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs merge the overarching potential of small firms and research institutions with the legendary intellect of NASA. These partnerships spur a kind of innovation that not only propels technology into the future, but most importantly, into the nation. By providing opportunities for small businesses and research institutions to partner with NASA, the programs bring conceptualization to realization.
