Bethany McClave joined NASA’s Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) Programs in October 2017. She currently manages program communications and is the NASA lead for the 2019 Innovation and Opportunity Conference.
Bethany has always delighted in her roles working with and advocating for small businesses in the aerospace industry. Prior to her position with SBIR/STTR, Bethany was a Contracting Officer at Ames Research Center for eight years, most recently supporting NASA programs, projects, and capabilities in aeronautics, exploration technology, and information technology. She began her career in 2003 at the Army’s Aviation Applied Technology Directorate (AATD), Fort Eustis, VA, as a Contract Specialist supporting rotorcraft research, development, and rapid prototyping.
Bethany holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Marshall University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from University of Florida.
