Carol E. McCallister, a native of Tyler Texas, grew up in Omaha Nebraska and migrated to Denver Colorado in 1959. Carol worked 16 years for Martin Marietta, 10 years for Emily Griffith Opportunity, and currently 33 years as owner and CEO of Champion Business Services.

Champion Business Services is a thirty-three (33) year, woman-owned minority small business located in Denver, Colorado, certified by Federal, City, and State agencies. The Firm specializes in Temporary personnel and provides administrative and clerical support to Federal Agencies.

Carol’s goal in 1986 was to improve the skills of the workforce, through training. To date, Carol has made a difference with countless companies, towards providing them with skilled labor, and has trained over 7000 individuals. This accomplishment caught the attention of the National Review Committee in May 1997. Carol was invited by Vice President Al Gore to participate in the Welfare to Work Reform Program in Washington D.C., in addition to sharing her successful training program with the Federal Executive Committee, where Carol learned that Champion Business Services is one of a kind in the United States.
